In this Firefighter Training Episode…

In this firefighter training episode, we train on how to gear up fast and effeciency every time.

Just like professional athletes have a specific “routine” for getting mentally focused and prepared for their shot/performance,  great firefighters have their routine to get them combat ready, quickly and effectively. ( This isn’t what you learned in the academy.  This is the real world stuff.)

We reviewed the 3 different scenarios that we would find ourselves in when the alarm goes off and we need to gear up.

  1. Gearing Up off the rack
  2. Gearing Up off your seating assignment
  3. Gearing Up walking into the fire house.

These are the top  3 scenarios, so we focused on these and share the inside tips on how to gear up fast, with all our gear including our hood and radio strap.

We also share a bonus tip at the end.

John Hayowyk and John Dixon join David J Soler to provide more tips and even  bonus content.
