About Instructor John Dixon:

John is a career Lieutenant with the Teaneck Fire Dept (NJ) and has over 16 years in the fire service.  John has a passion for the fire service and for training , mentoring and inspiring up and coming officers.  He also serves as an Instructor with the Bergen  County Fire Academy(NJ).

John believes  discipline, eduction and leadership are the cornerstones of great company officers.  He is passionate about training and the important role it plays in developing and refining great leaders in the fire service.  Success for John, is  seeing  those that he has trained, mentored and inspired become great leaders that lead and inspire other firefighters and  then duplicate themselves into more great leaders.  Thus having a positive ripple effect on the fire service and those we all serve.
