FirefighterToolbox Podcast/ Internet Radio Show Episode #18

A lesson with Joe Starnes

About this Episode:

In this episode Joe Starnes from Kill The Flashover Project comes back to share a lesson he has learned through the years of research with Kill The Flashover Project.

It’s amazing how much he knows and in this episode I break it down into bite sized pieces so we can easily absorb this content.

Learn about the 3 legs to the Fire Stool model to give yourself and your crew more time before extreme fire conditions are underway. This approach to fire extinguishment will break down the fire triangle and help you avoid flash over.

  • How can solutions/agents impact the extinguishment of a fire?
  • Thermal Imagers are not just for finding the fire or people, but something more
  • Learn how to identify the flow path of intake air and exhaust gases
